We here at the WTPRS are putting together a database of paranormal activity in the Big Country area of Texas. It
would thrill us to no end to have you share your paranormal experience, local legend, ghost story, or any strange event related
to the Big Country--past or present. If you live in, were born and raised in, or have any association with the Big Country
and you know of a paranormal phenomenon in the area, we ask you to share your story with us. Big Country towns and cities
include, but are certainly not limited to, Abilene, Albany, Anson, Aspermont, Baird, Ballinger, Breckenridge, Brownwood,
Buffalo Gap, Cisco, Clyde, Coleman, Colorado City, Comanche, Cross Plains, Early, Eastland, Gorman, Hamlin, Haskell, Merkel,
Munday, Ranger, Rising Star, Roby, Roscoe, Rotan, Santa Anna, Snyder, Stamford, Sweetwater, Tye, and Winters. Granted,
there are a number of smaller towns and communities as well. If you're associated with those places, please, by all
means, send us your stories. If you have pictures, please send those too.
Our goal is to make this database available to the public after a period of data collection. One of our objectives
in the WTPRS is to educate and share information. With your help, we can create a resource that will hold part of our
cultural heritage.
